The Blue Oyster Mushroom Patch Growing Temperature: 4565° F
This fascinating fungus (Pleurotus ostreatus var. columbinus) is a cold-weather variant of the Pearl Oyster Mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus). Requires temperatures of approximately 65° Fahrenheit to produce mushrooms, though the mycelium will continue to grow at temperatures above 65. Freezing is not harmful to this kit. Due to its unique temperature requirements, the Blue Oyster Mushroom Patch is only available for purchase from October through April.
